2009 - 2010 Core Course

The Core Course will once again be developed in a live classroom
format and online format.  The Four(4) Hour course will be developed in
two parts of two hours each.  The first part, Part A, will be developed for
delivery by a target date of July 2009  The Second Part, PART B, will be
developed for delivery by July , 2010  As always these target dates are
subject to budget and procurement requirements

The Core Course Curriculum will include the topics of
Each part will include a Laws & Rules update based on the results of
the respective Legislative Session for 2009 and 2010.  Material for the 2
part of each 2 hour Core Course will be determined at a later date.

Currently Approved Classes (all Electives)

Federal Fair Housing in Sales (3 hrs)
Federal Fair Housing in Rentals (3 hrs)
Americans with Disabilities Act Q&A and effect on Real Estate (3 hrs)
Counter
Licensees intending to renew their license on an active status by the
renewal deadline of November 30 (even-numbered years) must
complete 10 hours of approved continuing education courses during
the biennium. The required continuing education hours include four
(4) hours for the commission designated core course, which may be
offered in a two-part format or as a four (4) hour core course, and six
(6) hours of elective credit hours.
